Security window film in Madison

What security window film does

  • Cracked glass still held together in one piece

    Holds broken glass

When glass breaks, the film keeps the pieces together and in the frame.

  • A home’s front door with glass panels and sidelights, seen from the hallway

    Slows a break-in

Glass that holds together takes far longer to get through.

  • A red brick home with large front windows on a sunny day

    Safer in a storm

Fewer flying shards when something hits a window.

  • Two-story brick house with dark windows and a glass-paneled garage door

    Still clear

Clear safety film keeps the view and the light.

How it works

How security window film works

Security film is much thicker than tint. It bonds to the glass, so when the glass breaks the pieces stay stuck to the film.

Where the glass needs it, the film is anchored to the frame so the whole pane stays in place. It is not bulletproof and does not make glass unbreakable.

Booking

What happens when you book

We look at the glass first, so the price you get is for your windows.

  1. Tell us about the glass

Which rooms or windows, rough sizes and a few photos. We reply with a price or book a look.

  2. We protect the room

Furniture is moved back and floors and sills are covered before any film comes out.

  3. We fit the film

The glass is cleaned and the film fitted pane by pane, its edges trimmed neat to the frame.

  4. We check it with you

We walk through every window with you and leave you the care notes.

What to tell us: the rooms or windows, rough sizes, photos of the glass, and what bothers you most — heat, glare, fading or privacy.

Afterwards: leave the film to dry for a few weeks before cleaning the glass. A little haze while it dries is normal. Clean with a soft cloth and an ammonia-free cleaner.
